Welcome to our preliminary hunter pet guide for Patch 12.1: Curse of Ula'tek.
This patch is new to the test realm and a lot is likely to change before release, so check back for updates!
Below we've documented the new models that have appeared in the patch database and you'll quickly notice that (a) they're pretty much all snake-like, and (b) the serpentine models all come in a similar range of five-colours - but we don't know if there's some significance to that.
We've yet to include several creatures that are based on older models but retain a 'poison aura' upon taming, so check back later!.
= Exotic Family (Beast Masters only)
Exotic FamilySomething between a wind serpent and a snake-headed chiamera, we're not yet sure which family skyfiends will ultimately end up in.
These looks have been found on tameable creatures.
Feathery hydras with some green venom effects on their backs.
These looks have been found on tameable creatures.
We haven't yet confirmed, or are still waiting to see if these looks will be tameable
Apparently more than just good friends, these entities consist of not one, but three serpents twisted together.

A cute new wind serpent model.

Five new colours for the old python model.

Five new colours for the old cobra model. A couple of these still a bit rough and will hopefully receive more work before release.

The two bear colours depicted below aren't actually available on the wild model (yet!). Both were created for new mounts in Patch 12.1 but they would work perfectly if copied to the non-mount model. The snow-dusted one is particularly novel.
It seems these flying serpents are still in development but will hopefully be ready and tameable before patch release. Currently, the texture-handling of the model needs a few kinks ironed out, and only one colour (untameable) has been found in the game so far.
